Amala Ishaya (born as Mary Christiansen), graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in biomedical communications and completed her internship at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Center for Educational Development in Chicago, Illinois. Through this degree she did medical media, research and education for 4 years at Illinois State Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Blodgett Memorial Hospital, Butterworth Hospital, and Mercy Hospital,. After those 4 years she immersed herself in the healing arts (13 years as a chiropractor and 10 years as a teacher of the Ishayas Ascension Meditation – where she received her name Amala Ishaya and her training to teach the Ishayas’ Ascension). These experiences traversed the spectrum of working with the body, mind, emotions and spirit of not only others but herself.

Currently she is a VAHS (Voice Analysis Hydration System) practitioner, Hydrocolon, and Lymphstar Pro Therapist, Acusan, EES (Energy Enhancement Systems) and NES practitioner, teacher of the Ishayas Ascension meditation, and Better Food Choices Coach. In addition she has personally used Quantum –scalar wave technology for the past 7 years and is a client as well as a practitioner of this wonder science. Mr. Abbott is a Licensed Acupuncturist with certifications in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine techniques. He also is trained as an Advanced BodyTalk System Practitioner. Prior to earning his Oriental Medicine Degree from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Technology from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA.

Mr.Abbott's Oriental Medicine training includes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture, Japanese Meridian Acupuncture, Five Element Acupuncture, Moxibustion Therapy, Herbal Medicine and Food and Diet Therapy. From Mr. Abbott's trainings and experience processes a keen innate knowledge of how to access a patients needs so that a treatment plan can be set into motion for a speedy recovery.
